tubenoisseur Runner#

tubenoisseur was made with scheduled runners in mind. You’re supposed to throw it at something like a cron job or a systemd service so it runs automatically. Besides these options, another recommended one is to set up a runner on GitHub by using GitHub Actions. Note that, if you don’t want to set this up, but are still interested, there’s a community runner available.

Without further ado, let’s get into how to set this thing up.

Steps#

Create a GitHub repository.
Create a git repository.
Under .github/workflows/tubenoisseur.yaml, write this:

Modify the lines marked as CHANGE THIS. The first one is the actual schedule. The second one is the list of channels you want to use tubenoisseur on. 4. Push the changes to your GitHub repository.
